NO to HR1161: Hands off Greenland. Stop bringing the House into Disrepute

Don't bring Congress into disrepute. No to HR 1161. Why am I even nothing to write to you about a bill that never should have been proposed and should not make it out of committee? Because I am outraged that you are making a mockery of the laws and constitution of the US and of your solemn oath. H.R. 1161 is "Red, White, and Blueland Act of 2025," it's a direct violation of the rules based international order: violation of Danish sovereignty over Greenland. The unilateral scheme violates the right of self-determination for the people of Greenland and Denmark's authority as the responsible nation. Any discuss of this bill would evince utmost contempt for the principles of international law and diplomacy. The preservation of sovereignty and human rights is our duty. The representative who proposed this noxious stunt as a act of toadying compliance to Trump should consider his achievements in Congress and be asked by colleagues and those he represents what he has done to make life better in his own district. Please reply in writing to ensure me that you will not support hostile land grabs of any territory and that you will uphold the laws and constitution as is your sworn duty.
