ISRAEL RAN OVER AND MURDERED TWO CHILDREN WITH A TANK IN A REFUGEE CAMP

Over the past 24 hours, Israel has murdered upwards of 40 Palestinians and injured 71. Rescue efforts are still ongoing and the number of dead and injured will likely rise. Additionally, today 8/5, Israel has, again, returned Palestinian bodies in a completely unrecognizable state. There is no identification or other ways for those with loved ones still missing can know if their loved ones are among the bodies. Israel did not include anything beyond the 84 bodies in severe decomposition in body bags. The only solution would be DNA testing, which is not possible and may not be even in the future when this "conflict" ends. When basic healthcare services are almost impossible, something like DNA testing is more than impossible. DNA degrades over time, and if there isn't a way to collect and protect any samples taken, the identities of the dead will likely never be known. These horrors are only a small sample of daily tragedies unfolding every moment. Yet another verified incident of Israel using military tanks to run over alive people in refugee tent camps has been reported. The testimony from one of the survivors, Sanad, is heartbreaking. While she and her family were sheltering in tents in Khan Younis, Israeli forces opened indiscriminate fire upon the refugees and began to approach with a tank. Sanad's husband used his body to try and shelter their 3 children. He was shot in the back. Sanad's husband and children could not escape. Her husband and 2 of her children were murdered in front of her in one of the most excruciating, torturous ways possible - slowly crushed to death with no means of escape. I will never forget the first time I saw the aftermath of what happens to the body of victims murdered this way - it was March of this year. Even the blurred photo that Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor in their report is nauseating. The uncensored photo is the stuff of nightmares. The victim in March was intentionally ran over starting at the legs to sadistically ensure they experienced extreme pain before they died. I demand that you:  – Hold Israel accountable for a permanent, immediate ceasefire, their violations of the Genocide Convention, and gross human rights violations by any means necessary – Call for the immediate end of Israel’s occupation and apartheid and support Palestinians in their fight for freedom and peace – Secure the immediate release and safety of all Palestinians who have been abducted and held captive by Israel, including those whose indefinite detention began prior to 10/7 – Permanently end all monetary, diplomatic, and military aid given to Israel and enforce Leahy Law – Reallocate all funds given to Israel and commit additional resources for ongoing humanitarian relief for Palestinians starting with immediately resuming funding of UNRWA – Immediately withdraw all U.S. troops, military assets, and all other assets deployed throughout the Middle East and cease all actions that further escalate a larger regional conflict
