I'm writing to you as a constituent who has woken up every day since January 20th to Trump using the power of Executive Orders, something that should be for urgent matters, to defy the constitution. Where is the pushback? Why is no one stopping him? Why are people complying with an EO that is not law?
He has fired the inspector generals who are meant to be independent watchdogs, and recently signed an EO claiming that independent regulatory agencies established by Congress (such as the FTC) now answer to him. Even worse, these agencies have investigations against Musk-owned companies. How long are you going to let Musk, a foreign born citizen, basically use the presidential office for personal gain?
Why are you letting the president take away your power? Why are you letting him hamstring Congress and the Legislative Branch?
What are you doing to stop this illegal, unconstitutional act? What are you doing to stop any of the numerous power grabs?
