Do not rename the DC Metro after Trump

The proposed legislation to rename the DC metro system the "Trump Train" and stations with "WMAGA" is a blatant attempt to glorify an individual who has consistently undermined democratic norms and prioritized self-interest over public good. President Trump's tenure has been marred by scandals, conflicts of interest, and a failure to deliver on promises of draining the swamp or improving infrastructure. Naming public works projects after such a divisive and self-serving figure is an affront to the principles of a government meant to serve all its citizens. This bill squanders resources that could be better allocated towards substantive improvements benefiting the entire community. I vehemently oppose any efforts to misuse federal projects for partisan aggrandizement or personal gain.
