Oppose Defunding UNRWA - Maintain Vital Palestinian Aid

I am opposed to S.3723, the bill to Defund the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The UNRWA provides vital humanitarian aid and services to millions of Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. Defunding this agency would deprive these vulnerable populations of essential food, healthcare, education, and other basic needs, and removing funding from this area would only further destabilize peace and diplomacy in the region. At a time when Palestinian civilians are facing life-threatening circumstances and conditions, UNRWA is more vital than ever. The UNRWA plays a crucial role in promoting regional stability and should continue receiving funding to carry out its important work. I urge you to vote against this bill and maintain support for the UNRWA's lifesaving operations. Do not support S.3723.
