Climate Action is a Choice With Many Benefits

Today I take pen in hand to write and urge you to continue to argue for every climate provision in the Reconciliation Bill. In the words of Dr. Elizabeth Sawin of Climate Interact: "To walk away from climate protection you also walk away from good jobs, cleaner air, less respiratory illness and premature birth, cleaner water, walkable communities and less chronic disease and the opportunity to build a more equitable society." So please send these words to all your colleagues, there is a moral and ethical obligation to do the right thing. The price tag on climate will simply get higher without action in the bill.
