Condemn Israel for airstriking World Central Kitchen aid workers

The recent Israel airstrike that killed five Palestinians, including three World Central Kitchen aid workers, is an unconscionable act of violence that must be condemned in the strongest terms. Targeting humanitarian workers whose sole mission is to provide food aid to a population suffering under a brutal military siege is a flagrant violation of international law and basic human decency. This attack compounds the immense suffering already inflicted on the people of Gaza by Israel's relentless bombardment and blockade. We call for an immediate investigation into this airstrike and for those responsible to be held accountable. Moreover, Israel must cease its indiscriminate attacks on Palestinian civilians and permit humanitarian aid organizations to safely carry out their life-saving work without fear of being targeted.
