UNRWA STAFF TORTURED FOR FALSE CONFESSIONS - RESUME FUNDING & CEASEFIRE NOW

I wasn't surprised when I read the UNRWA's recent report that Israel used torture to coerce false confessions that Hamas used UNRWA resources in the 10/7 attack. Not surprised, but still absolutely appalled. Israel has such a record of the use of torture prior to 10/7 there is an entire Israeli-led NGO for it, the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel, as well as B’Tselem that also works to try and end these horrific atrocities. We have even more recent, credible reports from the Defense for Children International v. Biden U.S. court case documents, South Africa's ICJ case proving Israel's genocide of Palestinians, CIRIGHTS consolidated data scoring Israel's subversion of NGOs that try and expose gross human rights violations like the torture of Palestinian hostages indefinitely detained in death camps - "military prisons", UN Human Rights experts recent reports of Palestinians - including children - being subjected to sexual torture, and Save The Children's current and historic reports of the torture of Palestinian children. I have heard the credible reporting that after he was abducted, director of the Al-Shifa Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya, has been continually tortured by Israeli forces- both arms broken, starvation, sleep deprivation, chained and forced to crawl and act like an animal, among so many other horrifying and disgusting acts. They're trying to make Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya lie that the Al-Shifa hospital was a Hamas command center- still even after all of the independent reports that have proved this was a completely unsubstantiated allegation. Sweden and Canada have already done the right thing resuming their funding of UNRWA. It's your time to do the same. Resume UNRWA funding. Call for an immediate, permanent ceasefire. I demand that you:  - Call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire - Call for the immediate end of Israel's occupation and apartheid and support Palestinians in their fight for freedom and peace - Hold Israel accountable for their violations of the Genocide Convention and all other international laws by any means necessary - Secure the immediate release and safety of all Palestinians who have been abducted and held captive by Israel, including those whose indefinite detention began prior to 10/7 - Permanently end all monetary, diplomatic, and military aid given to Israel and enforce Leahy Law - Immediately withdraw all U.S. troops, military assets, and all other assets deployed throughout the Middle East and cease all actions that further escalate a larger regional conflict - Pass legislation that voids all anti-BDS laws at the federal level - Restore my right to free speech and the freedom of the press by condemning all discrimination or harassment for criticizing any government or political ideology (including zionism) and by doing everything possible to prevent future assaults to my rights, including governmental control and/or censorship of the Internet
