Stop arming Israel's assault on Gaza, end civilian casualties

The continued sale of $20 billion in weapons to Israel amid its protracted assault on Gaza is highly concerning. Evidence indicates US-made munitions have directly caused civilian casualties, including the horrific December incident where US Joint Direct Attack Munitions killed 43 Palestinians in central Gaza. This genocide has claimed over 44,000 Palestinian lives, and arming one side only perpetuates the violence and suffering. While Israel had the right to defend itself against the initial Hamas attack, its response has been utterly disproportionate, bombarding civilian areas and leaving Gaza uninhabitable. US weapons are causing these war crimes in contravention of international law. It is immoral and illegal for the US to be complicit in such atrocities against the Palestinian people.
