An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Safeguarding Constitutional Rights and Immigrant Protections Urgently Needed

12 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The Supreme Court's outrageous decision to curb nationwide injunctions is an egregious, blatant assault on the 14th Amendment's guarantee of citizenship and a despicable, flagrant power grab by the tyrannical executive branch. This unprecedented, authoritarian reinterpretation recklessly disregards over 150 years of established legal precedent and concentrates immense, unchecked power in the hands of the President at the grave expense of judicial oversight. Forcing every single group to refile as costly and grossly inefficient class actions is an unconscionable, oppressive burden-shift that cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. This abhorrent, abominable decision utterly subverts the Constitution's core principles and places immigrants' rights in existential jeopardy. Immediate and decisive action is an urgent imperative to safeguard these rights through legislation if necessary, by any means required.
