An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Tell the White House not to associate with sex offenders.

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

While aiming to improve children's health and fitness is commendable, inviting a convicted sex offender to participate in an initiative meant to benefit kids undermines the program's credibility and intention. Associating with individuals who have committed heinous acts against minors projects an unsettling message about priorities. It would be more appropriate to distance the administration from those with such backgrounds and focus the effort on ethically recruiting positive role models who can inspire youth in a responsible manner. Furthermore, entertaining potential pardons for accomplices of known child exploiters like Jeffrey Epstein erodes public trust in the justice system's ability to hold perpetrators accountable. A firm stance against sexual abuse involving minors is crucial to safeguarding the welfare of our nation's children.
