Checking GunViolenceArchive this morning, I see that we squeaked by without a mass shooting being reported for yesterday. But a 9th shooting for Sunday has been reported. Adding one more person dead and five injured. We MUST begin to tackle this problem. Ban assault weapons and large magazines, close the Chareleston loophole, and implement universal background checks. Then keep going until we are as safe as other advanced nations. Gun violence in our country is a national shame. We must fix the problem.
