Protect important programs from budget cuts. Tax the wealthy!

I am appalled at the potentially devastating effects the Republican budget proposals will have on our important government programs. I oppose any and all cuts to SNAP, Medicaid, retirement benefits for federal workers, climate resilience programs, infrastructure programs, banking watchdogs, student loan programs, Pell grants, and school lunches. The government is here to protect and serve the people, not to give tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy. The Pentagon doesn't need more money to lose. We should hold them accountable for the money they have already received. We certainly don't need more money for ICE and border control. I urge you to use any procedural tools to slow down or obstruct this budget process. We should make this as hard as possible for the Republicans to get this done.
