congress The current federal budget as offered by the Republicans in the House, is a complete travesty. It essentially offers a massive tax cut for corporations and the wealthy, while looking towards Medicaid and Medicare as a play to cut expenses — the rich win and the poor lose. This is exactly what cannot happen, and you need to be more animated beyond just voting and writing letters. Interact with your constituent base, appear on television, start working to challenge your republican counterparts — it only takes a few flips to kill this budget, but YOU have to make this happen. Saying you’re in a minority is not suitable. Kill the House budget.
