Hold ICE Leadership Accountable for Deadly Vetting Failures

ICE is rapidly expanding under Trump’s cruel & deadly mass deportation agenda. That makes weak vetting and rushed training even more dangerous. When officers with inadequate oversight are sent into communities with guns, unmarked vehicles, unclear identification, and little transparency, ordinary people can be hurt or killed. Communities deserve more than internal reviews and vague promises. Congress has the power to subpoena records, compel sworn testimony, demand body-camera reforms, expose whether warning signs were ignored, and determine whether ICE leadership failed to protect the public. Public pressure can force lawmakers to move beyond letters and outrage. Those on House and Senate Homeland Security Committees must investigate what went wrong, require ICE to release answers, and push enforceable reforms before more families are shattered. Bring Markwayne Mullin before the House & Senate committees to answer for the sloppy vetting that lets dangerous people wear masks, carry guns, and detain/maim/kill immigrants and US citizens.
