Vote no on the draft 2027 National Defense Authorization Act, and specifically strip Section 219 before it comes to a final vote. That provision directs the Secretary of Defense to appoint a senior executive agent to embed Israeli defense technology directly into U.S. weapons systems — covering AI, cyber warfare, autonomous systems, and quantum computing. No other country in U.S. history has ever been granted this kind of access to our most sensitive military infrastructure. That's not an alliance. That's a sovereignty problem.
The broader bill isn't much better. A 40-plus percent increase to a military budget that still can't pass an audit is fiscal recklessness dressed up as national security. The Armed Services Committees have already waved this through, which means the pressure now falls on the full chamber. Please vote no on this bill as written, and make clear that Section 219 has no place in any version of the NDAA.
