An open letter to the U.S. Supreme Court

Protect Voter Rights

20 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Voter rights are being decimated on America. The case before you on blatant gerrymandering and other forms of politically motivated voter disenfranchisement has the potential to either bolster America's position as a democratic Republic or to confirm what we fear most in the current political atmosphere, that we are no longer a people electing our government, but a government deciding how the people are allowed to vote and whether it matters at all. I beg of you that you see this for what it is: a threat to democracy. Force states to redraw politically motivated voting boundaries to make actual real sense based on demographic regions, not on lines that bifurcate cities on redlined streets. Are all humans created equal? Do we not all deserve the same weight of voice in our representation?
