Congress cannot remain silent while the President of the United States behaves in a manner that would be unacceptable in any school, workplace, or household across this nation. If ordinary Americans would face consequences for this kind of harassment, surely the President must not be allowed to normalize it from the highest office in the land. This is not about partisanship—it is about standards, leadership, and basic decency. It is about the example we set for our children, for our allies, and for the world. When the President resorts to name-calling instead of policy arguments, it degrades our democracy and weakens our national character.
