I’ll be watching, and so will your customers!!!” Sir, if a Democrat had said that, you’d be screaming SOCIALISM, accusing them of GOVERNMENT CONTROL, and warning that capitalism was under attack. But when you say it? We’re supposed to believe it’s smart economic policy? Let’s break it down: tariffs are taxes—paid by American companies when they import goods. Costs go up. Prices go up. That’s how the market works. Telling Walmart to “eat the tariffs” isn’t capitalism. It’s a demand that a private company absorb government-imposed costs because it suits you politically.
