I need you to take immediate action to stop the use of toxic pesticides and herbicides on our public lands. These chemicals are contaminating the soil, water, and wildlife that belong to all of us.
The current practice of spraying poison on federal lands puts families, pets, and ecosystems at risk. Children play in these areas. People hike, camp, and drink from streams that flow through treated zones. Wildlife that depends on these habitats suffers direct exposure and long-term harm. We have safer alternatives that don't require saturating public spaces with toxins.
Public lands should be managed for health and sustainability, not as dumping grounds for chemical companies' products. I expect you to push for an immediate moratorium on pesticide use on federal lands in our state and to support legislation that transitions land management agencies to organic and regenerative practices. Our public lands deserve better than this.
