Repudiate Trump's Overture to Putin, Support Ukraine's Sovereignty

It is unacceptable for Vladimir Putin, a war criminal responsible for the illegal invasion of Ukraine and immense suffering of its people, to set foot on American soil. Welcoming him here disrespects the sovereignty of Ukraine and dishonors the sacrifices of Ukrainians defending their homeland. Furthermore, former President Trump lacks any authority to negotiate on Ukraine's behalf. Congress must unequivocally condemn this proposed meeting and reaffirm its steadfast support for the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom and democracy against Russian aggression.
