Protect Democracy, Defend Presidential Term Limits

The US state department just sided with a foreign country on eliminating presidential term limits. This is a shameful breach of messaging for a country that is supposed to be a symbol of freedom. I hope you see this as the huge threat to democracy that it is. Without term limits, the ability to have free and fair elections is put at immediate risk. It is a short step from allowing lifetime presidential positions to corrupt interference in the election process so it's neither free nor fair. President Trump has been quite vocal about his intention to take a third term, and I call on you to bring impeachment proceedings should he attempt to circumvent the constitution in that way.
