I write to you as a citizen deeply committed to the rule of law and the principles of justice that define this nation. The Supreme Court stands as the guardian of our Constitution, and with that sacred duty comes the obligation to ensure that no one, no matter how powerful, is above the law.
The case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a glaring example of justice delayed and denied. Despite your rulings, the Trump administration openly defied court orders, undermining the authority of this institution and betraying the trust of the American people. Such actions cannot be ignored, nor can the complicity of those who enabled them.
The world is watching. History will record whether this Court upheld its oath or allowed impunity to prevail. The credibility of the United States as a nation of laws hinges on your willingness to hold President Trump and his administration accountable for their defiance and their crimes.
Do not surrender the Court’s power to political pressure. The American people, and people of conscience around the globe demand justice. We will remember. We will not relent. And those responsible will be held to account, one way or another.
