Quit playing games with the election and stop sending weapons of war to a known war criminal. Netanyahu has shown repeatedly he is unwilling to back down from genocide and he is completing his murders with American weapons. This is not the same as when we send weapons to Ukraine to protect themselves from Russian invasion. The state of Israel are the invaders. We are arming terrorists when we arm the IDF. We have to stand against both antisemitism and Israel's genocide of Palestinians. What use is there in having a United Nations if the voice of the US outweighs the rest? Where is the collaboration if we bully our way out of accountability? You present the upcoming election as a way to save our democracy, but so far on this genocide your administration has shown itself no different than Trump's. And your refusal to stop arming Netanyahu is a quick spiral into despair for anyone of us who think our vote makes one darn bit of a difference, because despite our constitutional right to protest, nothing has changed. No one is any safer. America is a war machine, a gun, a bomb, a destroyer of hope and of our planet. These bombs are producing more climate change than the communities being hardest hit by hurricanes and wildfires combined. What's the point of planning for a future where this great nation has plainly stated that only rich white men who are moderately healthy have any rights to protections or autonomy of any kind? It may be the dream of the founding fathers, but it's a nightmare for the entire rest of the planet. Stop. Arming. Israel. How many more US soldiers need to set themselves on fire for this to sink in?
