I am writing to express my support for H.R. 4078, the Stop Unlawful Detention and End Mistreatment act. The United States is supposed to stand for freedom and liberty, but ICE’s recent actions do not represent freedom. We should all be able to know why individuals in our country are being detained and where they are being kept in custody. ICE works for the people, and We The People deserve to know what they are doing with our taxpayer dollars. I urge you to support this legislation.
