Yesterday, an audio file from an Irish immigrant in one of the ICE detention centers was released. The man describes conditions as akin to concentration camps. There is very little food. There is very little healthcare. “Prisoners” are being denied access to their legal representation, their medications, their assistive devices including hearing aids and glasses, and visitation or communication with their families and friends.
Let me hold your hand when I tell you this- SERIAL KILLERS are living in better conditions than people who are guilty of nothing more than existing. Please sit with that for a minute. Rapists have more rights. Murderers have more rights. Child traffickers have more rights. Can someone make this make sense?
WE THE PEOPLE voted you into office to represent OUR interests- not your own, and WE THE PEOPLE will vote you back out if you don’t. Do. Your. Job. America was never great, but it hasn’t been this tyrannical in decades. So at least make America less awful again.
