An open letter to the U.S. Congress

please support HR 1589 American Dream and Promise Act of 2025

10 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The American Dream and Promise Act of 2025 (H.R. 1589) would provide eligible undocumented young people — many of whom were brought to the United States as children — with a clear and permanent pathway to lawful status and citizenship. Hundreds of thousands of Dreamers have grown up in this country and consider it their home. They are students, workers, business owners, healthcare providers, and community members who contribute to our economy and strengthen our communities every day. While programs like DACA have provided temporary protection for some, they do not offer the long-term stability that Dreamers, their families, and their employers need. The DREAM Act would create a lasting solution that allows these individuals to fully plan their futures and continue contributing to the country they know as home. I respectfully urge you to support bipartisan efforts to pass the DREAM Act and provide permanent protection and opportunity for Dreamers
