An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Be Honest About Opposing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

If you oppose "DEI," then be brave enough to say the full phrase: "I oppose diversity, equity, and inclusion." Better yet, be specific—which part do you object to? Is it diversity you don't like? Equity? Inclusion? Reducing these values to an acronym turns them into a thought-terminating cliché, shielding opposition from real scrutiny. From now on, I urge you and your colleagues to be clear and honest about your stance. If you reject these principles, let the public know exactly why. The American people deserve transparency, not vague rhetoric.
