His family was left devastated and misled, suffering unnecessary pain because of these unjust actions. As people of faith and conscience, we are called to uphold justice and mercy. Deporting legal residents and citizens without due process violates both the law and the moral imperative to protect those in need. I urge you to: Launch a thorough investigation into ICE’s practices regarding the detention and deportation of legal immigrants and citizens. Support legislation that strengthens protections for legal immigrants and prevents wrongful deportations.
