On January 8, 2026, Secretary Kristi Noem stood at a DHS podium displaying the phrase “One of ours, all of yours.” This is the language of collective punishment, the doctrine that powered Nazi terror. Any official who uses or tolerates such rhetoric is unfit for office. Congress must condemn it publicly and hold accountable the Trump administration and Republican allies who normalize authoritarian language and behavior.
