Oppose SB4638: Defend Health Care Access for Military Families

This bill unjustly targets the children of military families by denying them access to evidence-based, life-saving health care. Blocking coverage for puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and related care undermines that mission and places transgender youth at serious risk of harm. Major medical associations recognize this care as essential, safe, and medically appropriate. SB4638 not only contradicts medical consensus, it also inserts political ideology into deeply personal family and health care decisions. Military families already navigate immense stress and sacrifice; they deserve full access to the care their children need—not discrimination disguised as policy.
