The fifth anniversary of Trump's Insurrection Day.

Today, January 6th, is of course the anniversary of Trump's attempted coup in 2021. As I recall the events of that day and the attack on the Capitol, I want to thank those that did the right thing and didn't bow to the pressure of Trump and his cronies and upheld the legitimate election results. I want to thank those who attempted to hold Trump accountable in the resulting impeachment. In the Nixon days, Republicans still believed in country and the Constitution over power. Today's Republicans in general, only care about power and lack the spine and conviction to hold an unchecked president's power and don't fulfill their oaths to the Constitution. I can't wait for spineless Mike Johnson to lose his seat and Speaker gavel. In Trump's words, we have to "fight like hell or we won't have a country anymore.". This is more true today in as he and his regime not only violate our own country's laws and Constitution, but international laws and norms. Thank you for your continued support of the Constitution and fighting for this country.
