Leading advocacy organizations including DAWN, Action Corps, and Just Foreign Policy have raised the alarm, warning that these attacks not only violate domestic law but also contravene international law under the UN Charter, which prohibits military action unless in self-defense or approved by the UN Security Council. Congress must not stand by and allow any administration—past or present—to commit acts of war without authorization. This is not just a procedural matter; it is a fundamental issue of democratic accountability and human rights. These illegal air strikes further destabilize the region, escalate tensions, and entrench endless war without public debate or consent. I urge you to act now to uphold your constitutional duty.
