You are Appropriations chair. Do your job: uphold Congressional powers or resign

Please, DO YOUR JOB as appropriations chair. I understand that the calendar for the Senate Appropriations Committee is blank for the rest of March and all of April. As you know, Trump and Musk have usurped the constitutionally established power of Congress to appropriate. As a senator you swore to uphold and defend the constitution. As appropriations chair, you are able to hold hearings, invite people in to answer questions, issue subpoenas, make criminal and judicial referrals. There is no doubt that Trump had been egregiously violating the constitution, the laws, and his own oath to both. His impeachable high crimes and misdemeanours now far outnumber what he was impeached for last time. Why are you doing nothing? You have made a few public statements about eventually holding hearings to inquire about the effects of Musk's illegal interference, you are doing NOTHING to uphold the constitution, NOTHING to defend the constitutional balance of power and role of Congress. I am astonished and outraged by your inaction. You are betraying your oath to the Constitution. You are betraying all whose lives will be harmed by the Trump cuts and dismantling. If you cannot uphold your oath or do the work expected of the Chair of the Appropriations committee and refuse to hold town halls, I respectfully suggest that you should resign. A person in any other line of work who fell short as you have done would be shown the door. Please reply in writing to let me know how you plan to conduct the appropriations committee and what you will do to regain the congressional powers illegally usurped by Trump.
