An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Vote no on H.R. 22 and S. 128, the SAVE Act

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

This legislation would impose unnecessary barriers that would disproportionately disenfranchise eligible voters - particularly married women who changed their names, naturalized citizens, military members, tribal citizens, and working-class Americans who may not readily have access to documents like passports or original birth certificates. There are already secure systems in place to verify voter eligibility without creating these roadblocks to voter registration. Voting is a fundamental right in our democracy, and this bill serves no legitimate purpose other than to suppress votes. I urge you to protect the integrity of our elections by voting against H.R. 22, S. 128, and any other measures that would make it harder for Americans to exercise their constitutional right to vote.
