Asm. Tangipa’s proposed voting legislation

Ask. Tangipa’s proposed legislation to require proof of citizenship to register to vote seems to demonstrate that he does not know that proof of citizenship is ALREADY required in order to register to vote! Having to show proof of citizenship every time someone votes is simply another GOP tactic to repress voting rights. Exactly how would that work for the millions ( myself included) who vote by mail? It has been shown OVER and OVER again that incidents of voter fraud are very rare! Shame on Asm. Tangipa!
