An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

US should rejoin WHO for global health security

40 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

The United States should rejoin the World Health Organization (WHO) to promote global health and security. Withdrawing from the WHO jeopardizes America's leadership in addressing pandemics and health emergencies that transcend borders. By rejoining, the U.S. can work collaboratively with other nations to strengthen pandemic preparedness, coordinate responses to disease outbreaks, and advance medical research benefiting all humanity. Isolationism undermines our ability to tackle transnational health challenges. Rejoining the WHO aligns with America's strategic interests and values of global cooperation for a safer, healthier world.
