This outrageous change violates the public trust, corrupts the impartial delivery of healthcare, and places millions of veterans at risk of politically motivated denial of care. Experts across the medical and veterans’ communities have condemned the shift as unethical, dangerous, and antithetical to medical duty. I ask that you: • Publicly condemn this action and the executive order that authorized it. • Demand immediate reversal through legislative or judicial means. • Support an investigation into how and why this policy was implemented. • Ensure that non-discrimination protections at the VA include political affiliation, marital status, and union membership. • Introduce or co-sponsor legislation that explicitly blocks healthcare discrimination in all federal facilities. In addition, I ask that you confirm, in writing, that you serve all of your constituents—not just those who voted for you. If you cannot honestly say that, then people like me have no government, and it appears you are preparing to purge anyone who does not follow MAGA ideology or “look like” MAGA from this country. This is not a partisan issue—it is a matter of basic rights, dignity, and trust. No veteran should be denied care for their vote, beliefs, or personal life. I urge you to act now.
