The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (aka NOAA) plays an important role in keeping Americans informed, communities safe, and boosting local economies across the country. Have you ever checked the weather? Thank NOAA. Have you ever received a severe weather warning or emergency alert about a tornado, flood, or hurricane? Thank NOAA. Have you enjoyed local seafood? Thank NOAA. Swam at a beach, knowing the water was safe? Thank NOAA. NOAA provides actionable environmental information that is the basis for smart policy and decision-making in a quickly changing world. The American public engages with NOAA data daily, making it one of our most important federal partners. But Trump and Musk clearly don’t want an informed, safe public because they are working to gut, dismantle, and even privatize NOAA. We need YOU to stand up for NOAA. In funding discussions, in reconciliation, in constituent meetings. NOAA Protects Us. Now we need to protect NOAA.
