An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Demand Accountability – Call for Pete Hegseth’s Resignation

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I’m writing to express deep concern over a serious national security breach involving Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. As reported by The Atlantic, Hegseth and senior officials mistakenly included journalist Jeffrey Goldberg in a Signal group chat containing classified information about U.S. military operations in Yemen. This breach wasn’t just a mistake—it was a reckless failure of basic operational security. Using an unapproved messaging app to coordinate sensitive military action, and exposing those details to a civilian outsider, puts American lives and missions at risk. Accountability must apply at the highest levels of government. I urge you to call for Pete Hegseth’s immediate resignation and support a full investigation into this violation of security protocols. The American people deserve competent, responsible leadership—especially when national security is a stake.
