Demand for New Budget to Eliminate Known Fraud and Ensure Fiscal Responsibility
2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
President Trump stated that “hundreds of billions” in government spending have been identified as fraudulent. Additionally, Elon Musk informed senators that DOGE’s efforts are saving $4 million daily, totaling $1.46 billion annually.
Based on just these facts, Congress cannot legally fund fraudulent expenditures. The False Claims Act (31 U.S.C. §§ 3729–3733) and the Anti-Deficiency Act (31 U.S.C. §§ 1341, 1517) prohibit approving funds for budgets tainted by fraud. Voting for a Continuing Resolution (CR) under these circumstances may be unconstitutional. A new budget must be drafted immediately to ensure lawful and responsible spending.
I urge you to demand a full budget reassessment to uphold transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility for American taxpayers.
