Vote No on the $70 Billion ICE Funding Bill

100 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

Vote no on the $70 billion ICE and Border Patrol funding bill. This agency should be defunded and shut down entirely, along with every detention center it operates. Pouring tens of billions into ICE doesn't make anyone safer — it expands a system that has already killed Americans like Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minnesota. The bill is also riddled with a $1.8 billion fund that even Republican senators like Thom Tillis and Bill Cassidy can't defend. Tillis said there's "no way to explain the $1.776 billion fund," and Cassidy called it "an immediate and dire threat to our constitutional order." If members of the majority can't justify what's in this bill, there's no reason to pass it. Block it, and use this moment to push for real accountability and the closure of ICE and its detention network for good.
