You Picked a Fight with 167 Million Women

With the passage of the SAVE Act, you’ve hammered the final nail into the coffin of the Republican Party. Do you know how many women live in this country? Over 167 million. And with one cruel, calculated act, you told us we are not American enough to vote unless our paperwork matches a name we may have taken in love. You’ve turned the simple, beautiful tradition of taking a partner’s name into a bureaucratic punishment. You’ve weaponized our marriages. You’ve made voting — our most basic right — harder for women who chose love and family. And this is just the latest. You’ve already taken control of our bodies, forcing us to risk death to carry pregnancies we may not survive. You’ve erased us from textbooks, museums, and monuments — calling us “DEI hires” instead of leaders, innovators, and patriots. We are your wives, your mothers, your daughters, your aunts, your neighbors — the very women who kept your party alive for decades. And now, you’ve disenfranchised us. Well, we’re done. You have taken our rights, our freedoms, and now you want our names too? Well now the Republican Party has lost something else — our votes, our support, and our money. You’ve betrayed women, and you’ve betrayed the Constitution. That means we are taking our energy, our voices, and our ballots somewhere else — to a party that may not be perfect, but at least still believes women are fully human. You have awakened a sleeping giant. We are not confused. We are not divided. We don’t need a man, and we don’t need a child.
