Stay Cautious with COVID

Overall, I’ve been happy with how Governor Newsom and the State legislature has been handling the Covid19 pandemic. However, I’m very unhappy with the push to reopen schools and the State, especially in light of the news that the UK variant is joe the dominant variant in the US. This UK variant is more contagious as well as deadly. Data shows that children are catching it and passing it on. The choice to reopen when the UK variant is dominant is just a really bad idea. I urge you to listen to the scientists, ignore the anti-science COVID deniers, and do what’s best for the people of CA overall, not just the short term or to maintain your political positions.
