So now Trump has pledged to sue the WSJ over their report stating that he contributed a drawing of a naked woman to Epstein’s 50th birthday album in 2003. The letter concluded with “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Is he trying to cancel yet another truth to power source? Like Stephen Colbert?
For a party who screams about cancel culture at every opportunity, y’all do nothing but actually cancel anything that hurts your feelings.
Then Republicans on the Rules Committee sought to defuse things by adopting a nonbinding resolution allowing for possible future action.
That’s some strong stand to take on the issue. Maybe, sometime, perhaps, whatever.
The resolution — sponsored by one of your own— ordered the release of the Epstein files and also called on DOJ to report to Congress within 15 days of release “a list of all government officials and politically exposed persons named in the released materials” with limited redactions.
Did it make y’all feel better to waste time passing such a joke? The resolution won’t be included in the spending package and doesn’t have the force of law. And it’s unclear whether it will ever come up for a vote.
Again, one of your own posted on X. “Congress thinks you’re stupid. The rules committee passed a NON-BINDING Epstein resolution, hoping folks will accept it as real. It forces the release of NOTHING.”
Keep it up. The more the president rants, the more y’all bob and weave and try to distract us, the more we want to know what the administration is hiding.
Either they were lying for years about the existence of the Epstein files solely to gin up the base, or they are lying now about their existence.
This may just be the issue that helps unite we the people.
We do love a good conspiracy theory.
