Palestinian Lives Matter; Re-Invite Francesca Albanese to Address Congress

I am writing to urge you to re-invite Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, to address Congress. Anti-Zionism is a stance rooted in opposition to a political ideology, not a reflection of antisemitic beliefs. In fact, numerous Jewish organizations have publicly supported Ms. Albanese’s role and mission, affirming that her advocacy for human rights aligns with Jewish values of justice and peace. Her stance resonates with a significant portion of the Jewish community that seeks a just solution for all people in the region. By dismissing her, Congress would miss a critical opportunity to hear from a UN-appointed advocate dedicated to the principle that justice, not violence, is the foundation of security.
