Please support HB 2 to help all Texas students succeed. HB 2 proposes a $395 increase to the Basic Allotment: • It is a start, but only 30% of what is needed to match 2019 buying power. Please work to help get more funding for our kids. • Push for amendments that increase school funding. Fight for our students! • Unfortunately, HB2 is the only funding bill currently in play, but we will take what we can get. Please keep working on your end to help our students. • Students and teachers can't wait. Real investment is needed now. Pay teachers more to keep them in education for our students!
