Rep. Jamie Raskin, true patriot

Rep. Jamie Raskin deserves a special vote of thanks from all of us, no matter where we live. It took a special kind of inner strength for him to go to work on January 6 after losing his son. And an even deeper reservoir of conviction and moral courage to deliver the House team’s impeachment case to the Senate the way he did today. His thoughtful, well-reasoned and obviously sincere speeches were a welcome reminder that voters can indeed choose to be represented by the best among us, not necessarily the showiest. I hope you and your colleagues will consider honoring Mr. Raskin with some token of support from a grateful nation.
