Support Legal Action to Compel Full Release of Epstein Files

I am writing to urge you to support legal action compelling the Trump administration to fully comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This law, which passed unanimously and was signed by the president nearly three months ago, required the Department of Justice to release all unclassified records related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell by December 19. We are now 50 days past that deadline, and the administration has failed to meet its legal obligations. According to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, at best only half of all available Epstein files have been released despite the DOJ claiming it produced approximately 3.5 million records. The records that were released are redacted to an absurd degree, making it impossible to understand the full scope of Epstein's criminal network. Even more troubling, the Justice Department violated the law in over 1,000 instances by leaking the identities of more than 100 victims while appearing to protect Epstein's co-conspirators. Roughly 20 Epstein victims sent a letter to Congress decrying this reckless and dangerous release of their identities. These survivors deserve justice, not further victimization by their own government. The latest release revealed a global network of numerous men in powerful positions communicating with Epstein. The American people have a right to know the full truth about who enabled and participated in these crimes. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that no information in the files warranted new prosecutions, but how can we trust that assessment when the department has demonstrated such blatant disregard for the law's requirements? This is the same official who served as Trump's personal defense attorney. I urge you to support any resolution or legal action that compels full compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The law is clear, the deadline has passed, and justice demands transparency.
