Congress must act to protect Vote By Mail!

I am writing out of great concern, having read that a Postal Service official filed a whistleblower report alleging USPS is pushing ahead with a “secretive, rushed” digital system to implement Trump’s mail-ballot order, even after a federal judge ordered the plan halted. The report warns the “slapdash” system could reject bulk-mailed ballots over a single failed barcode scan and cause a “catastrophic failure” that prevents potentially millions of voters from receiving ballots in time for the midterms. A federal court order isn’t a suggestion the administration can ignore! With absentee ballots going out in weeks, an untested system built in open disregard of a judge’s ruling doesn’t just risk chaos. It threatens whether millions of Americans can vote, and it tells every other agency watching that court orders are optional. As my representative I need you to push back and stop this! Protect our vote! I am tired of watching Trump assault our democratic institutions with no pushback. He must abide by the law, like all the rest of us. Thanks.
